"It's not true!" replies the president of the Automobile Club

After insistent rumours that the Principality of Monaco could see its last Grand Prix this year, Michel Boéri, president of the Automobile Club de Monaco, wanted to set the record straight at the general meeting of the commissaires' body.

Recently, in the microcosm of Formula 1, it was said that Liberty Media, the owner of the F1 world championship, would question the Monaco Grand Prix.

The urban route is not very suitable for overtaking, the price of the grid is ridiculously low compared to other nations that would like to host the premier discipline, and new destinations such as Las Vegas will be added in 2023... Is the Monaco Grand Prix in danger? "No," hammered the president of the Automobile Club de Monaco at the general meeting of the commissaires' body on Tuesday evening.

This is good news for all Formula 1 lovers and for all the stewards - there were more than 500 of them on Tuesday evening - who give up their time to watch over the drivers.
