The Monaco e-Kart Championship promises electric street battles

At the age of 37, former driver Clivio Piccione is launching the first 100% electric karting championship. Monaco, Menton, Saint-Raphaël and Ventimiglia will host six races in 2022.

It was there that he scored his first success before climbing the ladder to the gates of F1. "In the 1996 PACA league championship, I won the pole position, even though it was my baptism of fire in karting! It is also there, at the Paul-Ricard circuit, on the turnstile next to the French Grand Prix track, that Clivio Piccione presented his new challenge to the media. Although the Monegasque no longer drives, at 37 years of age he is ready to drive the Monaco e-Kart Championship. A brand new competition that will see 75 drivers (25 per category) compete with supercharged karts in the city, between summer and winter.
